CEO/Head Recruiter - Brittny
With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Brittny Wilson (she, her, hers) is a seasoned recruitment expert specializing in talent acquisition for nonprofit organizations. As the founder of Brittny Wilson Consulting, Brittny works closely with nonprofits to help them attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent, focusing on roles like Development Directors, executive leadership, and other key positions. Her expertise includes building candidate-centric hiring processes, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within recruitment, and strengthening organizational culture.
Brittny’s passion lies in supporting nonprofits to build high-performing teams that align with their missions and values. She brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges nonprofits face in talent recruitment and is dedicated to helping organizations create impactful, inclusive, and transparent hiring processes that elevate their brand and enhance their reputation in the nonprofit sector.
Brittny hails from the great state of O-H-I-O (go Buckeyes!). She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in French and Sociology and holds a master's degree in religious studies from Naropa University, none of which taught her how to fundraise. It has taken two decades of making mistakes and learning from them that taught her how to effectively thrive in the nonprofit sector. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Leaders in Development at the University of Denver. When she’s not griping about #nonprofitlife on her former podcast, The Nonprofit Reframe, or helping those navigate it, Brittny likes to spend her free time with her family camping, indulging in all things Americana, and exploring as many national parks as possible.
