why should we hire Brittny Wilson Consulting for recruitment services?

I have participated in the hiring process of numerous organizations and have benefitted from witnessing it done numerous ways, both positively and negatively. Some pitfalls I have seen are:

  • orgs panic when they lose their fundraiser and race to post the position without fully assessing what they need in a candidate

  • nobody is fully in charge of the process so it is disjointed, candidates are not properly communicated with and it ultimately takes too long

  • the person scanning resumes knows nothing about the job so cannot accurately tell who is a qualified candidate

  • candidates drop out of the process because it seems disorganized and they feel strung along

Let us manage the process so we can ensure it runs smoothly and equitably. Considering the cost of hiring a fundraiser today, it’s worth the investment to find the right candidate and make a great first impression!

How long will the entire hiring process take?

The entire process will take between 10-12 weeks based on mutual availability and each organization’s unique circumstances.

Do we have to commit to all 3 phases?

Organization’s can choose to only do the 1st phase for a flat fee, but phase 1 MUST be completed in order to do phases 2 and 3 (which must be done together).

Do you guarantee an applicant’s tenure?

Life is full of twists and turns so while we cannot guarantee a candidate will stay for any length of time, we can offer to repeat the process if they leave before 6 months from the date of hire for no additional charge. There is also an option to extend the coaching contract to receive the same offer up to a year after hire.

How much are your recruitment services?

We can better determine the cost of services after we have our initial Discovery call. Once determined, you can expect to pay 25% due at signing, 50% is due when the job posts and the remaining 25% is paid when an offer is accepted.

Are interim services included in recruitment?

No. Interim Development Director services are separate with priority given to Recruitment clients.

Do you recruit for other positions than development directors?

Absolutely, especially if the position is involved in fundraising like other development positions or Executive Directors.

Do I have to be “new” to fundraising to sign-up for your one-on-one coaching?

Absolutely not. Fundraising can be lonely. I get it. I have a lot of seasoned coaching clients who benefit from having someone to be a thought partner with them, help in problem solving and hold them accountable to goals.
